What’s new in Pulse (v 1.0.12):
Calendar summary as a status! — For those with a lot of back-to-back meetings, Pulse will now use your connected calendar to set expectations. Free this morning? Busy this afternoon? Pulse will let your teammates know via your status to help coordinate your next sync-up or protect your workflow.
New /pulse command! — Enter ‘/pulse’ for any teammate in the Slack messaging window and Pulse will return helpful availability information such as their current status, a calendar summary, shortcut links to meetings or documents they’re in (where you have permission), relevant shared work activity, work hours, and much more. We love using this to get the Zoom link!
* The /pulse command is only available to teammates that also have Pulse installed. Invite teammates to join you by sharing this link in your Slack workspace: https://slack.com/apps/
Synchronized emoji for Zoom meeting participants — This new enhancement is a game-changer and truly transforms your Slack into a virtual office. Pulse will now display a common fruit emoji next to all meeting attendees who are in the same meeting.
|You can enable this feature in Settings -> Workspace.
Local holidays as a status — Enable to share major regional holidays in the country of each of your teammates. It’s a great way to drive empathy on a distributed team.
New workspace settings and sharing options — We made a number of improvements and simplified the settings interface. Open Pulse and click on ‘Sharing Settings’ to see the latest options.
Bug fixes, product enhancements, and more — Please keep your feedback and feature requests coming.
Subscriptions and Payments — We have introduced Pulse premium. Pulse will continue to have a free tier. Teams that exceed 5 users can see upgrade options. You can see the Pulse pricing here.
